No The Peace Lily contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals which are irritating to household pets. If chewed or ingested by cats or dogs, it can cause intense oral irritation and drooling.

While not a heavy pollen-shedder like a cut lily, the Peace Lily does produce some pollen on its central spadix. No major allergy-triggering flowers noted, but sensitive individuals should avoid touching the white spadix directly.

This is a living plant that thrives in medium to low indirect light. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry or if the leaves begin to slightly droop.
